Furniture Art at USQ
An exhibition of furniture art curated by Andrew MacDonald is now on display in the USQ Arts Gallery. This exhibition will be the third curated by Andrew, for which he selects a small number of local furniture makers, artists and designers to submit one piece in any media and style, giving participants an opportunity to showcase their skills and to take up the challenge to extend their usual practice. The exhibition also provides the opportunity for industry-based workers, like kitchenmakers, to explore the possibilities of original, one-off work. This exhibition will be officially opened by Master Craftsman, Laurens Otto on Wednesday 29 September at 5pm – all welcome. www.usq.edu.au/artsworx 07 4631 1111 Continue reading
